About Dr. Jeff Kramer
Dr. Jeff Kramer, DC, ND, PhD, DCBCN, DIHom, ICCSP, ATC, CWC, CHt
Dr. Kramer is a Holistic Chiropractor and Clinical Hypnotherapist who enjoys helping his clients/patients achieve optimal health and wellness through holistic healthcare. As a Chiropractor, Dr. Kramer focuses his practice on family (including children) health and sport performance. In addition to utilizing gentle force chiropractic, he incorporates many other beneficial modalities to provide comprehensive holistic healthcare. Through the use of advanced clinical hypnotherapy, Dr. Kramer is able to help his clients stop smoking, decrease weight, reduce stress, enhance sport performance, improve self-confidence, and manage pain (without medications).

As a brief history, Dr. Kramer began his health career by serving with the U.S. Naval Reserves as a Hospital Corpsman and completing Emergency Medical Technician training. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at Berry College, majoring in Psychology/Health Sciences. While at Berry College, he worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.  Upon graduation, he served as Head Athletic Trainer with the Elizabethton Twins (rookie league to the Minnesota Twins). He completed his Master’s degree in Sports Medicine at the U.S. Sports Academy in 1989.  After graduation, he served as an Athletic Trainer for various sports medicine clinics, collegiate and high school teams, and volunteer organizations.

In 1991, he was recalled to active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. This was not only an important time for our nation, but it was also a very important transitional time in Dr. Kramer’s life. While much of his training had focused on traditional allopathic healthcare (sports medicine, emergency medicine, rehabilitation), he was about to begin a discovery into the benefits of holistic healthcare. Finding that his previous employment was to be phased out, Dr. Kramer began studies at Life University for Chiropractic. He completed the Doctor of Chiropractic program in 1995. To further advance his knowledge and appreciation of all the many facets within holistic healthcare, he began studying Naturopathy at Trinity College of Natural Health. He completed the Doctor of Naturopathy degree in 1998 and then shortly thereafter, completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health & Physical Education from LaSalle University (LEC). In 2003, Dr. Kramer earned a Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition from the American Clinical Board of Nutrition and a Diplomate from the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition in 2014. Additionally, he has extensive post-graduate training in many specialty areas of holistic health, to include: sports chiropractic, nutrition, homeopathy, wellness/life coaching and hypnotherapy.

Over the years Dr. Kramer has provided medical support for the American Red Cross, Georgia State Games, Georgia Special Olympics, and the 1996 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games. He also has served for several years in Tobacco Use Prevention and as District Community Health Education Director for Cobb & Douglas Boards of Health (Georgia).

In addition to his 30+ years of clinical experiences and formal education, Dr. Kramer has served in many academic positions within local colleges/universities, military and community education programs. Most recently he was an Adjunct Instructor of Anatomy & Physiology at Greenville Technical College and provided his expertise as a volunteer Team Sports Chiropractor for the University of South Carolina – Upstate. Currently he serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Anatomy & Physiology at Winthrop University.

Dr. Kramer combines his very diverse background to provide the community with a strong leader in the areas of holistic healthcare and community health education.
